We have several pane layouts saved and when our application starts up we load the apropriate one. The problem is since some of the panes have controls which are fixed size (eg. checkboxes/buttons etc.) if we have a layout that looks good at one resolution or window size if you load that configuration in a lower resolution or window size the dock panes size proportional to the window and end up obscuring some of the fixed size controls. We don't want to add a min/max size to these panes as users may want to shrink them, we just don't want the initial default size to obscure anything. Is there a way to tell the panes when calculating their sizes some should be fixed (but allowed to change afterwards) and the others should be the ones that change size? |
