Hi I hope someone can help. My grid has a mixture of cells items that are Editable and not Editable. And some items are check boxes. The only way I can make a cell Editable is to set the control to wndReportControl.AllowEdit = True If set to wndReportControl.AllowEdit = False the Column.Editable = true and Item.Editable = True are ignored altogether So I set the AllowEdit = True The problem is that the check box cell can now be typed into. The cell width is wider than the check box because the caption for the column is long. Is they a way to turn off the text entry for a checkbox cell? Thanks |

Just set the whole column edit to false
wndReportControl.AllowEdit = True
wndReportControl.Columns(0).Editable = False |

Hi,
wndReportControl.EditOnClick = true prevents the doubleclick from start edit for reportitems with checkbox. |

Hi,
Adding recorditems like this will create EditOptions for a single cell:
Dim XtremeRecordItem As XtremeReportControl.ReportRecordItem
Set XtremeRecordItem = XtremeRecord.AddItem("Test with checkbox")
XtremeRecordItem.HasCheckbox = True XtremeRecordItem.CreateEditOptions XtremeRecordItem.EditOptions.AllowEdit = False Hope this will help you... If not just let me know, must be some way to make this right

Aaron. Thanks you very much. XtremeRecordItem.CreateEditOptions Gives the individual item to have different options than given to the entire column. And that work perfectly. Where as wndReportControl.Columns(0).Editable = False Disabled the check box completely. Thanks again Mark |
