Hi, we have just purchased a multi developer license for the toolkit pro in order we may give our product an outlook 2003 style makeover. Something i feel that is necessary to achieve this is for the behaviour of the outlook 'shortcut bars' (on the left hand side) to act as those in Outlook 2003 itself: they should remain static at the bottom and the area towards the top changes when a shortcut bar is selected. Both the Outlook2003_GUI and outlookbar samples do not behave as the real outlook2003 does (as described above) - instead the shotcut bars behave like older versions of outlook, i.e. they move to the top area and the icons are displayed below it. I originally did an evaluation using the demo sdk about 6 months or so ago and im fairly sure that the default behaviour was more like outlook2003, so im a little confused. i've looked and played around with both methods of creating the outlook style shorcut area (CXTOutBarCtrl and CXTPTaskPanel) but am unable to achieve the desired effect. Am i missing something obvious or is it not posible? |
