    <![CDATA[<strong>Author:</strong> <a href="http://forum.codejock.com/member_profile.asp?PF=1316">Fing</a><br /><strong>Subject:</strong> 2573<br /><strong>Posted:</strong> 14 July 2005 at 2:56am<br /><br /><P>Hi,</P><P>we have just purchased a multi developer license for the toolkit pro in order we may give our product an outlook 2003 style makeover.</P><P>Something i feel that is necessary to achieve this is for the behaviour of the outlook 'shortcut bars' (on the left hand side) to act as those in Outlook 2003 itself: they should remain static at the bottom and the area towards the top changes when a shortcut bar is selected.</P><P>Both the Outlook2003_GUI and outlookbar samples do not behave as the real outlook2003 does (as described above) - instead the shotcut bars behave like older versions of outlook, i.e. they move to the top area and the icons are displayed below it.</P><P>I originally did an evaluation using the demo sdk about 6 months or so ago and im fairly sure that the default behaviour was more like outlook2003, so im a little confused.</P><P>i've looked and played around with both methods of creating the outlook style shorcut area (CXTOutBarCtrl and CXTPTaskPanel) but am unable to achieve the desired effect.</P><P>Am i missing something obvious or is it not posible?</P>]]>
