Report control sorting

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   I'm trying to use the report control and I think I managed to build up
the "table" but sorting is not working. The first time I open the form
and click on the header it sorts the data, but after that it doesn't do
anything anymore (the triangles show and change though). Any ideas?

	The problem is solved. Because you can't set an Item directly on a column, I fill a row with empty values first and than set the values I have based on the index after that. Now from the doc. I read that if you set the caption that will be use instead of value, I set the data only on the caption. I guess the sorting "worked" but I had only empty data. So setting my data on the "value" solved the problem... From my experience with support is that I get an answer from there, but I can't say that is always fast. I know that it seems that we just complain about support, but since your controls are not perfect and our apps depend on them, we need a fast and reliable support from you. Otherwise we risk loosing our customers, you loosing us...
