Hi,
What do you want me to see?
When I click the inplacebutton form2 will show and when form2 is closed there's a msgbox showing the caption of the column.
Another click the same as above, again and again...

Hi,
You are right, it gives an error. I was testing this with V12.0 and it worked OK. So that's why I asked you what do I have to see.
Thanks, I will add it to the issue list if you want me too and add BUG: <topic description> OK? |

Hi Glad you made it error as well....... and yes please add it to your list. My next question is not one that you will properly be able to answer How quick do you think it will be before it’s fixed? I really could do with a fix in the next 2-3 days errrrrrrrrrrr I have paid for support, would placing a call into CJ speed things up? Thanks for looking though.

Temporary fix:
I can store the button Item like this,
Dim riRecordItem As ReportRecordItem
Set riRecordItem = Button.Item
Before I do anything else.
Then use the riRecordItem when the Button object dies

Hi,
I see you already have a workaround.
You could use also:
wndReportControl.Columns(Button.Item.Index).Caption

Hi,
This seems to be solved (I don't know what version...) I didn't get an error, when running your test project.
