Some Questions/Wishes

I have a couple of questions/whishes about Calendar Control:

1. If CalendarThemeOffice2007.DayView.TimeScale.BackgroundColor is changed the control looks inconsistent.
Because Captionbar colors are left unchanged.
In my opinion, the following properties are missing:

CalendarThemeOffice2007.CaptionBar.BackgroundColor      CalendarThemeOffice2007.CaptionBar.Caption.Color      CalendarThemeOffice2007.CaptionBar.Caption.Font      CalendarThemeOffice2007.CaptionBar.SwitchViewButtons.BackgroundColor      CalendarThemeOffice2007.CaptionBar.SwitchViewButtons.Caption.Color      CalendarThemeOffice2007.CaptionBar.SwitchViewButtons.Caption.Font      CalendarThemeOffice2007.CaptionBar.ScrollDateButtons.BaseColor

2. It would be great to be able to customize CaptionBarDateLabel (if possible, with XAML and Eventhandler)

CalendarControl.Options.CaptionBarDateLabel

3. It would be also great if we can set the start and end hours in .DayView of the control like this:

CalendarControl.Options.DayStartTime = TimeSerial(8, 0, 0)      CalendarControl.Options.DayEndTime = TimeSerial(17, 0, 0)

4. Please add an option to hide AllDayEvents Row:

CalendarControl.DayView.ShowAllDayEvents = False

5. TodayBaseColor for DayView.Header does not change color of Header (allways Office2007-SelectedColor):

CalendarThemeOffice2007.DayView.Header.TodayBaseColor

6. I'm using two CalenderResources with two custom Dataproviders:

.SetDataProvider2 "Provider=Custom; 0", False      .SetDataProvider2 "Provider=Custom; 1", False

In a few events I cannot determine which DataProvider should be used to handle the event:

DoGetAllEventsRaw      DoGetUpcomingEvents      DoRetrieveDayEvents

How do I know which Provider should be used?


I added a small sample program with "Debug.Assert false" statements where I think that something
is missing (20080519_184736_Test.zip)

Sorry for a delay, your suggestions are just wonderful and we will implement them in some of the nearest version (like 12.1 or 2).

As for question 6 -- just wondering, have you found the answer or a workaround?
