vb 2005 and Sql Server

   I am having a very hard time finding information on using the calender control with VB 2005 and SQL Server...
I keep reading about custom data handlers and this sample... I download the sample and it was only an exe which doesnt seam to work...

I know most of my problems are likely between the chair and keyboard but could some one please share how to get this calendar working with VB 2005 and SQL Server...
I want to make sure it works before i actually buy it, but I am running out of trial time and still no working version...
