Not happy about this one.
Uninstalled 17.0.0 because I had 17.2.0 installed. checked paths for include, libs etc in Microsoft.Cpp.x64.user and ALL my paths are gone. C'mon guys!! I had to manually clean these up after install to put the right paths in the right place. Instaling 17.2.0 didn't replace or supercede the 17.0.0 paths either - just added the 17.2 paths to the bottom. Now I have to figure out all my include paths for all the SDKs I have installed. You guys never had a problem with this before, it's been hosed by someone there relatively recently,

Personally I never use (and have used) the CJ installer. Not because it's eventually bad, I just want to have full control about my paths all the time.
This having said, I compile the CJ src in VS and copy the src, libs and dll over in my project. Working fine. Bonus: I can use multicore compilation, which reduces CJ compilation time. |
