If it's only a visual change.

Dim lngOrgPos1 As Long
    If Column1.Index > Column2.Index Then
        lngOrgPos = Column1.Index
        Column2.Move  Column1.Index
        Column1.Move lngOrgPos
    Else
        lngOrgPos = Column2.Index
        Column1.Move  Column2.Index
        Column2.Move lngOrgPos
    End if

Something like this?
Product: Xtreme SuitePro (ActiveX) version 15.3.1

Platform: Windows XP (32bit) - SP 3 (on VMWare)

Language: Visual Basic 6.0
