Anybody have any ideas why the highlighted section of our control shows the grey edge of menus ???

Hi,
Create CXTPPopupToolBar instead of CXTPPopupBar or just call ShowGripper(FALSE);

Excellent cheers, and one last question with regards to this ribbon, how come CXTPControlButtonPopup does not show the drop arrow when it is in the small state, eg. see Contrast button and see Recolor button both are same style but Contrast shows drop button
Is this correct behaviour ???
If we use split buttons shows fine, but for these buttons they dont need to be split buttons

you created control with xtpControlButtonPopup style but should xtpControlPopup.
