Does it make sense to use a single .xcb and LoadDesignerBars in the MDI parent frame? I have most of my toolbars around the main frame, but I also want a single toolbar on one special MDI child window and another on a special docking pane. I would prefer these to all be customizeable from the same "pool" of available commands, so what I did was something like: CXTPToolBar *pToolBar = pMainFrameCommandBars->GetToolBar(IDR_SOMETOOLBAR); pMainFrameCommandBars->DockCommandBar(pToolBar, CRect(0, 0, 100, 100), pMDIChildCommandBars->GetDockBar(xtpBarTop)); It works at first, but causes some quirks with customization not paint properly until I resize the window after I finish the customization dialog. If forcing a toolbar to dock into a dockbar that is part of a different instance of the commandbars is a bad idea that isn't going to work at all, let me know. Maybe there is a different approach I could take to get what I want. Edited by Ark42 |
