It appears that the color of the footer text is taken from the color of the text in the last visible column. See below:
 Is there any way to directly control the color of the header/footer so it always appears black? |

Hi,
This problem was fixed in version 10.4 CaptionForeColor is used for footer text. -- WBR, Serge |

You might want to check again. This screenshot was taken using version 10.4.
