How to Activate Tabs on Ribbon

   I would like to programmatically activate the tabs on my ribbon, in the same way that pressing the Alt key does.  Does anyone know how to do this?
I know that each tab has a Selected property which I could set, but I don't want to select any particular tab.  I basically want to set the focus on the collection of tabs, but there is no SetFocus method for the ribbon itself. 

Any help appreciated!
