Hi, I'm trying to build a window & dlog w/o a system button. Looking to simply have several ribbon tabs w/o the blue "File" tab as the 1st tab.
Is this possible?

you can set visible to false, but not remove the extra space.

I'm sorry, but it's not clear to me how to achieve success with this recommendation. In reviewing the API, I'm not seeing a method that sets the tab invisible.
The only one that seems to be helpful is SetHideWrap(), but that didn't have any affect. Also, what does the extra space mean? The 1st visible tab will be offset to the right by some fixed amount?

You just don't call AddSystemButton and make sure you don't call an old command bars state from registry/XML (LoadCommandbars). So you need to delete the old state first or comment LoadState and then run it once.
