I've been asked to evaluate CodeJock with a view to skinning a couple of VB6 applications, so downloaded the suite over the weekend and dropped the skinning control on a form. I set it to skin using the Office 2007 skin supplied and the results were great.
Except... The toolbar was rendered but none of the icons had images. The separator bars all appeared in the right places, so it must have put the buttons in the right places, but they were all blank. I tried the other supplied skins but all had the same problem.
Any suggestions as to how I work round this please? We had this problem many versions ago when I evaluated for a different client and the solution at the time was to use the codejock toolbar control - at an extra cost. They decided not to go ahead because of the risks involved in replacing all their toolbars!
My app is VB6 sp6 and uses the toolbar froom mscomctl.ocx. The test was run on a Windows/XP sp3 VM.
Everything else on the form renderd perfectly (though menus seemed respond quite slowly).
Thanks
Steve

Thanks for the reply. That's a little worrying.
I'll have to check what I have on that machine and see if I can find a newer version. I'm fairly sure that the version I have used is the version we install with the software for our clients.
Thanks again

I found a copy of mscomctl.ocx on the Windows 7 system that was newer and installed that - the toolbar is back!
My old XP version was 6.1.95.48 and the Win 7 installed version was 6.1.98.18, in case anyone else falls across this problem.
Thanks for the help.
