Hi all,
I don't see the ReportRecordItem property for Italic. So how do I set the Italic Font for a record/row object?
I'd like to make the record/row appear Italic based on a SQL table field value.
The user may not select this SQL field to appear in the RC, so I have to read the field when loading the records from the table.

Any ideas about this?

Regards,
Mark Stuart

Hi,

  • All items in RC:

Me.wndReportControl.PaintManager.TextFont.Italic = True

  • If only certain reportItems have to be Italic: use BeforeDrawRow event and use Metrics object

me.wndReportControl.SetCustomDraw xtpCustomBeforeDrawRow
Private Sub wndReportControl_BeforeDrawRow(ByVal Row As XtremeReportControl.IReportRow, ByVal Item As XtremeReportControl.IReportRecordItem, ByVal Metrics As XtremeReportControl.IReportRecordItemMetrics)
    If Item.Index = 0 Then
        Metrics.Font.Italic = True 'Italic all items in first column
    End If
End Sub
