13.2.1 How do we add an icon to the new File Menu? for MFC XTP 13.2.1
 
Please show us code for Ribbon SDI Sample as we have tried everything without success.  And this is stopping us releasing our latest versions of our applications :(

just set xtpButtonIcon instead of xtpButtonCaption for file button.

Did you try replcace xtpButtonCaption to xtpButtonIcon in our sample ?

Cheers got working, it was my fault as was changing back to Caption at a later point in our code :(
 
With regards to item 5 see newly attached screenshots
