that works - thankyou

but then the control
selects the entire CalendarControl's visible days range

My boss said he can live with that - happy days :)

if vb6 on my XP box using demo control...

  Debug.Print CalendarControl.ActiveView.Days(0).Date
  Debug.Print CalendarControl.ActiveView.Days(CalendarControl.ActiveView.DaysCount - 1).Date

...prints DatePicker selected date range

how do I set this date range using code?
