Using RibbonBar with MDI Tabs. Most everything works perfectly.
But when I load a form (MDI child) that contains a FarPoint Spreadshet control, I get a double title bar on the Main MDI parent Form. Everything else works OK. When I unload that child form the additional Title bar disappears. Any suggestions? Solution: Oleg solved this by accident when giving me fix for different (but similar) problem) See https://forum.codejock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=13513 |

Hi Chris,
Do you mean that 2 instances of that form are loaded?
Or that commandbars are showing twice?

No, just one MDI child Form loaded, but the parent MDI form then has a double TitleBar -- see picture.
Everything else appears normal, and works normally. Both sets of Close buttons (top right corner) do work and both work the same. And when I close the Child Form, the double Title bar goes back to single bar (as it should be). This problem only occurs when the child Form includes the FarPoint SPREAD control. All other child windows (with various other 3rd party controls) work fine. If I load several copies of child windows with this FarPoint control, it make no difference to the Double TitleBar (it remains a double Title Bar). If this is not something anyone here has encountered, I will contact FarPoint. (But I have already searched the ParPoint Forums and found nothing, and for years I have been using the same FarPoint Spread component without any problem, before I bought the CodeJock controls). |

From what I'm seeing the farpoint control is canceling out the ribbonbar.enableframetheme event. hopefully Oleg can fix that problem for ya'.

This problem was fixed when I used your suggestion:
SkinManager.removeWindow me.hwnd see https://forum.codejock.com/forum_posts.asp?TID=13513 (But what I do not yet understand is why the form still appears to get skinned anyway....) |
