I am trying the commandbar designer for the first time so I expect I have missed something obvious......
When I open the designer, it shows a default Form1 with a menubar and a toolbar. I can change or delete the toolbar, but the Designer will not let me change or delete the menubar (the option is greyed out). I tried dragging all the controls off the menubar, but with no controls on the menubar the designer just crashed. So what do I need to do? I wish to create a toolbar for use on one of my forms. But do not want a menubar. (I have found a work-round by setting menubar.visible = false in my form :-) |

Create the toolbar first, then click the XML tab on the middle pane (at the bottom). Here you can delete the <CommandBar> entries for the menu bar.
