I am very interested in what i can do with our gui interface in progress 4gl using these controls. The only thing is many might be limited to my enviroment and i wanted to mess around with them and see what they can and can't do.

Well i downloaded a sample 4gl/ABL app that used these. The controls were in the download, i figured they were evaluation controls. So i registered them regserv32. Well when i drag and drop them on my window i get this.

---------------------------
AB
---------------------------
CtrlFrame.DatePicker
Unable to create control.

The license file for the specified ActiveX control was not found.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------

I assume it's because i dont have a eval license or something. I was wondeing if this was possible to do with out purchasing it?

Nice to see a fellow PROGRESS 4GL developer using these controls :-) You need to install the properly using the installer to be able to work in design mode, otherwise at runtime you can simply use the controls registered as you just did.
Product: Codejock Xtreme SuitePro (ActiveX) version 12.1.1
OS: Windows XP Pro (32 bit) SP3
Language: PROGRESS 4GL - OpenEdge 10.1C
