I have a top level window which is using Report Control (CXTPReportControl).

When I hover the mouse over the items in "Vista" operating system, the tooltips appear at the back of the window. They are partially visible. Only the onces that exceed the width of the main window are seen partially.

Whereas on Windows XP, it works fine. They are shown on top of the main window.

Here is the screenshot:

Please help. It is urgent.

Regards,
Gautam Jain

I was able to fix it myself.

I had another modeless popup dialog that was set to "Stay On Top" (WS_EX_TOPMOST). This is the reason the tooltips on the main window appeared at the back.

Thanks,
