Is it possible to change the background color of the Status bar when using the Visual Studio 2012 or Office 2013 themes?

Wondering if it's possible to do what's described in this article: http://www.schwammysays.net/visual-studio-2012-tip-color-coded-status-bar/ Thanks |

I want to be able to do this too. VS 2012 Dark theme is nice but I want to have the blue statusbar gray too.

I have tried  CommandBars.Paintmanager.ThemedStatusBar = False but it makes no difference. Some posts on this forum suggests this is not possible with the ActiveX version. Is that for real? It must be possible to do a custom theme somehow anyway, but I haven't figured out how yet. I would also like to have the CJ controls' scrollbars themed like in VS 2012 Dark, but I haven't figured that out either... Is this possible, please?
