Static Library + skins = crash

Using the SkinMDISample version 10.42 (Use MFC in a Static Library), the program crashes with a stack overflow when you change to the "default" skin. This seems to be the case with any app using the same feature with the Static Library. Any workaround for this? Thanks in advance.
