Report Control: Manual vs. user sorting

   I want to be able to manually define the default sort that is applied
to a Report Control but I also don't want the user to be able to change
the sort away from the default I set.  I have the following code:

    ReportControl.SortOrder.add ReportControl.Columns(3)

    ReportControl.SortOrder(3).SortAscending = True

    ReportControl.AllowColumnSort = False

The problem is that whenever I add the first two lines to set the
default sort, the third line that disables user sorting appears to be
ignored.  I do get the correct default sort but the user is still
able to change the sort as desired.  Is this a bug or is there a
workaround?
