There is no option to set a control as a label, so I added I _T("xtpControlCustom"), _T("xtpControlLabel") to the end of the const LPCTSTR lpTypes[] declaration in CommandBarDesigner.h and recompiled. It works, but it also lets you pick custom control, which makes the control tiny and hard to select if you do that since it doesn't draw anything for it. Oh well, at least I can create labels in the designer now.

Oh I should mention its hard to click on the labels in the designer because of the flags the CXTPControlLabel sets in its ctor, but you can at least right click on them.
