Hi,

I am just back from a client place while training our software. A strange behavior was discovered when a machine installed both kasperskey anti-virus software and my appliation.

Here is the situation:

our application will call a script object when initialize a database open operation.

        frmMain.RefreshUI

        '2005/7/7
        RunGlobalScript "Auto_Open"

After using skinframework to our application, if the user runs the software under win98 or win2000, the system sometimes freezes. And my test shows an "automation error" when loading a form with microsoft script control.

but if i disable the system skin function by skipping loading the skin files, the script will executes OK.

Any suggestion to this problem? Thanks!

Hi,

SkinFramework 11.1.3 + Windows 2000 + Kasperskey 6.0.2.621 work for me without problems.

What Kasperskey version do you test ?

Thank you for your test, I am using Kasperskey 6.0.2.621 the same as you.( Evaluation version, Chinese).

I tested it again on my Virtual machine, only windows 98 will throw out "Automation Error" after theming to the application, with Kaspersky real time monitoring function turned on. Win 2000 will freeze a while about 1-2 seconds, but it can still pass the auto_open procedure call.

In fact i can not re-prodcue the problem we found on our client machine. we installed about 10 sites last week, about 8 machines uses win2000, all found the problem. but for the other 2 Windows XP machines, everything is ok..

Thanks again for your help. If i can find more aspects to reproduce the problem i will post it here again.
