We have a popup button on a ribbon bar which has a dialog attached to it, however when we click the button the dialog appears but does not call OnShowWindow, we have initialisation code in here to hide/show buttons etc. which are not required.

However when the dialog closes it does call OnShowWindow(), any help appreciated for a workaround to this issue please

Hi,
Think you can try catch WM_WINDOWPOSCHANGED message instead.

Is there no way in XTP to force an OnShowWindow() call each time dialog is displayed ??? as this will allow users to put initialisation code in here without catching this message.

However I am trying this message you mention right now to see if it works.
Thanks
Terry
