Is there a way to hide panes from this?

to disable pane:
Pane.Enabled = PaneDisabled.

Thanks... that one needs to be a bit more clear... I would have never even thought of trying that ... as the panes I do not want to show are actually never shown to the user, but are actually used non-stop.
