I added a button in cxtpstatusbar. This status bar has also some more panes. When "SetPaneText" function is called frequently (while displaying menu item prompts) it invalidates the whole status bar and it flickers.

I have got this same problem. In one of status bar pane I am showing current mouse position, so this pane is updated in every mousemove message. Unfortunetly in this same status bar I have got also a small button and it flickers very much when updating mouse cursor position.

Did You resolved this problem ???
