My font issue was SkinFramework related whole time.  Rem out SF code and fonts are exactly what they should be.  Could not figure out why the Ribbon samples worked and my code did not.  I got so carried away with every line of damn sample Ribbon code I forgot to look and see where SF was being dealt with.  It was not, so I removed mine and presto, everything works.  Other controls and loaded forms look like crap but at least our half blind users can read my work :)

Hi,
If you use Skinframework,  it applys fonts/metrics to application. remove "ApplyMetrics" flag if you don't want it.

That did it.  Don't have to touch CommandBars now either, it adjusts based on system settings.  What metrics does SF use?  Testing my app, no matter what system size, SF is the same size.

Oleg, attached a screen shot of SF w/Ribbon.  System has Large fonts set.  First shot does not have xtpSkinApplyMetrics bit set, second does.  SF is doing something w/font size.  I am doing nothing w/XCB fonts.
