Hi,

does the skinframwork skin forms embedded in .ocx or .dll?

For example, am using Crystal reports 9 and some dialog boxes like print are not skinned properly or loose the window frame if skin applied..

Please assist.

to illustrate my point take look at pic below

:

when i click on print, print dialog box first appears with default windows theme then in a snuff the dialog box looses the window frame.

The current skinframework skin applied: greenhomestead
Enviroment: Visual Basic 6.0
3rd Party: Crystal Reports

Hi oleg,

I downloaded 10.4.2 and applied it but no change yet.  Am using crystal 9. haven't tried with crystal 10 yet.  code for skinframework is like:

With SkinFramework1
.LoadSkin app.path & "\Vista.cjstyles", "normalblue.ini"
.ApplyOptions = xtpSkinApplyColors Or xtpSkinApplyFrame Or xtpSkinApplyMetrics
.ApplyWindow Me.hWnd
End With

Hi,

Code looks good.
Sorry I can't find crystal 9 to test it.

We expected the same behavior with some Cobol dialogs: In the first second it looks fine, but then the titlebar and frame disappears.
But we are still working on a simple example to upload here.

Hi,

I tested it with Crystal 10. It works perfectly. Seems like problem is with crystal9 dll.

Thanks.

Hi Oleg,

I too have some skinning issues with Crystal 8.5. I have upgraded to Crystal V10, and would be grateful if you have any MFC sample projects you could send me.
