I installed CodeJock yesterday. I am running in the VS6/sp6 environment. I cannot find from the included docs how to get XP style themed controls in my app. I build the sample CommandBarIcons and I get the themed controls but I cannot get them in my app. I have looked for differences between the code and build settings of the 2 apps. The only thing I can find is the special AboutDlg included by the sample. How do I make this work in my own app?

Thanks,

Michael

Are you referring to the menus or the controls in your dialogs?

If it's the menus, try this tutorial: http://www.codejock.com/support/articles/mfc/commandbars/cb_1.asp - http://www.codejock.com/support/articles/mfc/commandbars/cb_1.asp

If it's the controls in your dialogs, have you embedded a manifest?  If not, try this article: http://www.codeproject.com/w2k/xptheme.asp - http://www.codeproject.com/w2k/xptheme.asp

Aha! That did it! Thanks. I just wish the CodeJock docs had pointed this out or provided a tutorial.
