Hi,

nobody replied to my prior post. But I must solve the problem, otherwise I cannot release my app. So once again:

The TaskPanel control behaves very strange in my VB6 app: it is "disabled". I recently read a post about locked TaskPanels, but the suggested solution doesn't work for me (passing ownerForm to a modal form). Well, here's the situation (the calling sequence):

  • MainForm...
    • initializes a class in ActiveX-DLL 1...
      • which calls a modal form with TaskPanel on it (works perfectly)...
        • form initializes a class in ActiveX-DLL 2...
          • which again calls a modal form with TaskPanel on it. THIS TASKPANEL IS LOCKED!

It's getting even more strange: the second class/modal form is called per CommandBar. If the CommandControl is executed from a context menu, TaskPanel is locked, but if CommandControl is executed from a CommandBar, TaskPanel works perfectly! It's reproducable. What's going on?

I appreciate your help!

Murat

PS: I'm using XtremeSuite 9.6.

Hello

Murat, I sure all want to help you, but do you have idea how we can do it?

You have source/debugger - we just description that you have some ActiveX and something not work.

Try to create new application, copy important parts to it, reproduce the problem and attach this application here.
