Is there a way to remove the caption bar from a pane only when it's tabbed?  If panes are tabbed they can be ripped away using the tab so there is no need for the caption but, but I want a caption bar when they aren't tabbed so the panes can be arranged and/or re-tabbed.

Eg:

I don't want the 'List' caption when they are tabbed.  I'd like it to look like this:  (Where I set the ShowCaptoin property to false)

The problem with setting that property to false is when the 2 views are no longer tabbed they don't have a caption so you can't drag them back into tabbed layout.

How is this possible?

Hello,

There is no simple way for it. But you can hide caption always and call

DockingPaneManager.PaintManager.DrawSingleTab = True

Thanks Oleg,  that's a reasonable work-around...
