I have a toolbar that has a single combo box on it. I created the toolbar and combo box similar to the font combo sample application provided. I've enabled customization for this toolbar. However, the combo box does not show up in the customization dialog for the toolbar. Furthermore, I am able to drag and delete the combo on the toolbar during a customization session. In this case, there's no way to get the combo box back unless I do a reset on the toolbar.

How do I make toolbar customization work with combo boxes? I'm expecting the combo to appear in the list of commands in the toolbar customization dialog.

Hello,

Currently controls such as combo boxes are not displayed in the commands list box. As you have discovered you are able to remove and delete the combo, but you would have to reset the toolbar to recover the combo box if removed. If this functionality needs to be enhanced please feel free to fill out a feature request so we can incorporate this into a future release.
