Both my program and the CJ's sample crash. The problem is this line:

CXTPResourceImage* pImage = XTPResourceImages()->LoadFile(_T("ReportExpandButton"));

The image is never loaded and this goes into an infinite loop.

Can you please advise on the correct fix?

This has been addressed in 16.2.3 and only effected the 2007 themes.

Thanks - I'll give it a try. Yes, it's only for 2007 themes.
