Ok
second go around I got the font size to work fine on a series point label
StdFont involved instead of just Font..

however I cannot change the backcolor of the point label. it just does not work.
works fine in the Codejock Chart Builder but not in the activex

.Label.BackColor is what I'm playing with..
any pointers....
