Hi,

I use an XML-based translation framework. All the resources of my apps are in a XML file, I don't use satellite or resource DLLs.

My users can switch the application language via a menu command. My app then restarts and comes up in the new language.

The problem is that I use XTP toolkit for toolbars and menus. Although I create these when my program loads, I need to store the docking state, pane positions and such. XTP seems to store the menu captions (command names), pane captions etc. as part of the docking state? Is this correct?

Because my application comes up only halfway translation. Menu commands and the captions shown in the tabs of docking pane groups still appear in the old language. When I click on a docking pane tab it sometimes switches to the new language name.

How can I handle this without loosing the ability to store docking panel and toolbar/menu states?
I want to save the state but the commands and panes must use the name set when I create them (I create them with the localized names and then load the state).
