When I run and exit my application without doing anything else, I get the following error:

Debug Assertion Failed!

File: \Codejock Software\MFC\Xtreme Toolkit Pro v9.601\Src\Controls\Common.Src\Theme\XTThemeManager.cpp

Line 261

This problem did not exist with the 9.51 library. I am running Win32 Unicode debug, VC6.

Additional Information:

I have found this problem only occurs when running in DEBUG mode. The release versions (WIN32 or WIN32 UNICODE) seem to exit just fine.

Through some troubleshooting, I went back to the 9.51 version of the GUI_VisualStudio7 sample, I am able to duplicate the problem. When I ran the 9.601 version in debug mode, all works fine. Seems like a backward compatibility issue.

Are you sure you didn't modify GUI_VisualStudio7 sample?

I set breakpoint in constructor of CXTThemeManager and it never fired....

Hi Oleg,

Thanks for your response. I went back and grabbed a new copy of the 9.51 version of the GUI-VisualStudio7 sample and had the same results as you. Odd, as I had tried it yesterday with a new copy and it did fire. I'll do more investigating and post more info if I find anything new.
