Is there a way to have more control over the Tooltips that are displayed in ReportControl?

I am using ReportControl to display results from a SQL query on a database.  Some of the fields in the database have a lot of characters.  When the tooltip is displayed for this, it's one extremely long line that spreads across the screen.  When the screen isn't wide enough to show everything on one line, I'm out of luck.

I'd like to be able adjust my tooltips to display on multiple lines.  Can this be done?  In some instances, I'd prefer to be able to use my own tooltips instead of the ones built-in to ReportControl.  I should be able to track the mouse well enough to detect when a tooltip is necessary, but I would need to be able to prevent the ReportControl tooltips from displaying.  Is this possible?

Ideally, I would like to see a "TooltipRequested" event exposed for ReportControl that indicated the ReportRecordItem needing the tooltip and allowed you to either cancel the tooltip OR change the text.

I appreciate the feedback.
