Hi,
When removing a column from header and it's over an item that contains MarkUp, the CROSS disappears. If you drop it outside the header, the column will be removed so that is OK.

I had a support ticket for conflicts between RC and Markup cell mouse cursors (Ticket #22874) back in 2009.  Here's another test (again) I just added single line to some test project I got my hands on...
Oleg, just drag column over first row and cursor WILL disappear !!!
