I have a CXTTabCtrl with a couple of property pages. ALT-shortcuts work when these pages have focus (made use of CDialog::PreTranslateMessage to get that working). However, when the dialog or its child controls have focus, the ALT-shortcuts of the property page don't work.

What do I have to do to get the ALT-shortcuts working no matter where the focus is?

So far, I have tried calling m_tabCtrl.OnCmdMsg() inside CMyDialog::OnCmdMsg() but with no success. (Speaking of which, WHY is CXTTabCtrl::OnCmdMsg protected?!)
