Gday,

I have a DockingPane whose attached form contains a TaskPanel, with VisualTheme set to xtpTaskPanelThemeOffice2003.

Is there any way to apply the office 2003 themed Docking Pane colours as they appear in PowerPoint and Access?

Here is a screenshot of what I am trying to achieve:

Note that the back colour of each pane group is white - this is what I want to duplicate. Perhaps there is an equivalent to CommandBars.SetSpecialColor ?

Also, is it possible to have a "seperator" between group items such as between "More..." and "Create a new file..." in the screenshot? As far as I can tell it isn't but I thought I'd ask just in case.

And is it possible to have a border around the DockingPane like in the screenshot?

If the above is not possible, I suppose they should be considered feature requests. The most important is having the groups background colour white.

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

In the next version you can change all the colors of the task panel.  Currently you can't.  To add the separator, I would add all of the controls in the "Open" group to a picture box, then you can use the VB Line control.

Try setting the Control Margins for the docking pane to get a border (See TabManager Sample).

Thanks SuperMario.

Any chances of the seperator being added for the next release? I would expect it to be easy to implement, and i'd like to avoid having to put pictureboxes into the TaskPanel where possible. Thanks for the suggestion.

Regarding being able to change the colours of the taskpanel in the next version... will the Office 2003 colour scheme be changed to properly match the Office 2003 look? I am yet to see the colour theme as implemented in the taskpanel with xtpTaskPanelThemeOffice2003 in any of the Office 2003 applications. I should say that this is specifically when the theme in XP is set to "Windows Classic" - I noticed that it does match the Office2003 look when XP themes are enabled, but not when "Windows Classic" is selected. Ideally, of course, I shouldnt have to change any colours to match the Office 2003 theme.

Thanks again.
