We have an old version of toolkit pro, 9.70.xxx.  I've managed to sucessfully upgrade to V13.2 Eval to ensure it is worth the upgrade cost.

However i'm getting a runtime error in visual studio 2010 B2 that doesn't occur in 2008 (using the same code base) and was wondering if the standard build addresses it, if its a known issue or whether we will need to wait for version 14 for a fix.

The error reads:

Debug Assertion failed:
f:\dd\dctools\vc7libs\ship\atlmfc\include\afxwin1.inl
line 21

This is checking the afx state and finding null.  This error also occurs when converting any of the samples supplied with the eval.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  (It would also be handy to know if simply buying the full version and building it under VS2010 B2 resolves it?)

Hi,

You can't take evaluation from vc2008 that was compiled with vc2008 runtimes and use it with vc2010. sure it won't work. we have customers who use it with vc2010 beta 2 and don't have any problems.

Hi,

we get exactly the same errors when trying to upgrade Toolkit 4.1 and Suite Pro 9.51 to VS2010.
Is there a known work-around or do we need to upgrade to the latest version?
If the latter, which package will be suitable for us in order to retain the features of both earlier packages?

Thanks,
