Is it possible to use controls from type xtpControlSplitButtonPopup in the quickaccessbar of a ribbonbar?

If I'm adding such a control it is enabled still the customization dialog is shown. After closing the dialog the control is disabled.

Where is the right place to add controls to the splitbuttonpopup control? In the Customization event or CustomizationDone event?

Is a sample available?
