I would like to write some text into a "blank" icon image. I have some code that combines the blank icon image with another one to display an overlaid image.
 
The objective is to show a tray icon, that displays a numerical information (number of new messages).
 
Is there an approach with XTLib code ?

Have you seen\tried the tray icon control?
