We have another viewer control on our form that seams to be interfering with the popup menu closing.  If I click in the menubar area of the form it works fine and the popup menu closes.  But if I click in the viewer control area it doesn't and I'm guessing it's because the viewer control is grabbing the mouse events.

Is there an option to have the popup menu close when the mouse moves off it's area much like the menus on your website work?

Hi,

Maybe you can catch MouseOver event from viewer control and call method CommandBars.ClosePopups

It is happy to see someone gave a hand to the person that did not follow the rule of 'signature'.

However, the accurate solution for this topic is:

CommandBars1.Options.AutoHideUnusedPopups = True
