When a docked window has the focus and its style contains CBRS_XT_GRIPPER_FLAT it is quite clear to the user which window has the focus because the colour of the gripper area changes. There seems to be no visual cue when the style is not present (e.g. when the window looks like the Visual C++ "Workspace" window). Wouldn't it be nicer or the user if some indication were shown? I thought the title text could be drawn in black instead of grey or something.

Hi Gary,

You can accomplish this effect by overriding the DrawCaption(CDC* pDC, const CRect& rect) method for your derived CXTDockWindow class.
